A Review of Simulation Models of Heat Extraction for a Geothermal Reservoir in an Enhanced Geothermal System

This paper reviews the heat transfer model for geothermal reservoirs, fracture network in and numerical of hydraulic fracturing. The first section models, which contain single-porosity model, dual-porosity multi-porosity model; meanwhile mathematical equations porosity are summarized. Then, this introduces reservoirs method computational transfer. In second section, on basis conventional theory, PKN (Perkins–Kern–Nordgren) KGD (Khristianovic–Geertsma–De Klerk) reviewed. Meanwhile, DFN (discrete network) P3D (pseudo-3D) PL3D (planar 3D) results show that stimulated reservoir volume has advantages describing network.
